In Nanchang•2023 Nanchang International Photography and Short Video Competition Award Ceremony was Held
Recently, the award ceremony for the "In Nanchang • 2023 Nanchang International Photography and Short Video Competition" was held at Nanchang Takamatsu Sino-Japanese Friendship Hall. Organized by Foreign Affairs Office of Nanchang Municipal People’s Government, the competition awarded a total of 50 awards across two categories, with 34 winners in the photography group and 16 winners in the short video group.

Photo/Liu LixinFrom July 10, 2023, to October 10, 2023, Foreign Affairs Office of Nanchang Municipal People’s Government launched the "In Nanchang • 2023 Nanchang International Photography and Short Video Competition", being oriented to the global public, media outlets, photographers, video production agencies and we-media influencers. Since its launch, the competition has received a total of 625 entries from 116 participants from more than 20 countries and regions, such as China, India, Egypt, Morocco, Cambodia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Madagascar, Bangladesh, etc. The entries consist of 521 photography works (series) and 104 short videos.
Their content involves various elements such as Nanchang's iconic buildings, intangible cultural heritage, traditional customs, ecology, rural landscapes, modern technology, etc. Furthermore, significant events and festivals, such as World Conference on VR Industry, Nanchang Air Show, Nanchang International Dragon Boat Race, Nanchang International Marathon, Nanchang International Military Tattoo, Poyang Lake International Birdwatching Season, Tour of Poyang Lake, and the Jiangxi Open, are also presented. From the perspectives of foreign friends, entries told the development, international friendly communications or folk exchange activities that take place in Nanchang.

She also expressed that every work had comprehensively showed Nanchang’s detailed highlights as well as profound historical heritage, rich cultural characteristics, and unique industrial advantages from international friends’ perspective close to daily life. In the future, Foreign Affairs Office of Nanchang Municipal People’s Government will continue to collaborate with various groups, constantly enrich the "In Nanchang" series of activities, and consistently showcase the charming Nanchang to the world, allowing more people to understand and fall in love with the city.
